Downloads
Where are my downloads?
In the Kurobayomi folder in your home folder (your user folder on Windows), unless you chose another Storage location: Anime and Manga hold the downloads, sorted by source, then title. The nightly app uses Kurobayomi-Nightly.
In which format are they saved?
Chapters are saved as .cbz files, episodes as .mkv files. Both open in other apps too.
Which quality does an episode download in?
The Default quality of Settings → Player. When no server of the episode has that quality, the best one is downloaded.
Do I need ffmpeg?
No. ffmpeg comes with Kurobayomi on Linux and Windows.
How many download at once?
Set Maximum downloads in Settings → Downloads and storage.
Can downloads be deleted after I watch or read them?
Yes. Settings → Downloads and storage → Delete chapters/episodes → After reading/watching automatically delete deletes the last one you finished, or one up to five before it.
What happens if I close the app while downloading?
Kurobayomi asks before quitting. The queue continues the next time you open it.
A download fails with too little space
Kurobayomi needs at least 200 MB free on the drive of your storage location. Free some space or choose another Storage location.
