What is a repository?
A repository is a list of sources published at a web address. You add it in Settings → Sources and tracking → Repositories, or click Add a source repository on the welcome screen. A website's Add to Kurobayomi button opens the app with its link filled in.
Why is Browse empty after adding a repository?
Every source of a new repository starts off. Open the repository under Settings → Sources and tracking → Repositories and turn on the sources you want. A source that is off is not downloaded, not shown in Browse or search, and skipped by library updates.
How do I remove a repository?
Open it in Settings → Sources and tracking → Repositories and click Delete repo. Titles from its sources stay in your library.
A title says "This source is off"
Its source is turned off. Click Turn on to use it again.
What do the source statuses mean?
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Working | The last check reached the site. |
| Temporarily blocked by the site | The site refused the app for now. Try again later. |
| Broken: waiting for a fix | The site changed and the source needs an update from its repository. |
Click Check now to check a source again.
Kurobayomi asks me to trust an extension
An extension Kurobayomi does not know shows Untrusted extension: a harmful one could read your stored logins. Click Trust only if you know where it comes from, otherwise Uninstall. Revoke trusted unknown extensions in Settings → Sources and tracking → Extensions takes your trust back.
How do I search every source at once?
Use the search button 🔍 next to Kurobayomi at the top of the side panel. It searches all sources that are turned on, for the kind you are viewing (anime or manga), and lists the results per source.
How do I see adult titles?
Turn on Show adult (18+) titles in Settings → Sources and tracking.

Who do I report a broken source to?
To the people who publish the repository, not to Kurobayomi. Kurobayomi does not make or host sources.
